Glasgow

Glasgow is the largest city, by population, of Scotland and the third-most populous city in the United Kingdom. It contains 23 wards, which represent the areas within the city. Glasgow is known for it's university, research, culture and fashion. For example the Glasgow Haskell Compiler, which is the main Haskell implementation, was started at the University of Glasgow.

The city has a estimated population of 632'350 (2020) and more than 1'000'000 people live in the wider metropolitan area. Glasgow is one of the most densly populated areas in the whole country, with an average of 3'562 people/km².
